Paddle Bridge’s guides are dedicated to accessibility and stewardship of the Mississippi River in the Twin Cities, and excellence in paddling instruction. Paddle Bridge offers guided tours on multiple routes daily, with lessons available.
For more than 25 years, Friends of the Mississippi River has engaged people to protect, restore and enhance the Mississippi River and its watershed in the Twin Cities region. The kinds of initiatives we work on range from advancing water quality policy to developing a career pathways program for the next generation of leaders, shaping community river access to planting climate-adapted trees in habitat corridors. More than 5,000 people each year advocate for the river and steward the land through which it flows. As the headwaters state of the mighty Mississippi, our work here matters beyond Minnesota. The Minnesota Canoe Association is a group of adults and kids who love paddling in all forms. From canoeing to kayaking, racing to ambling, flatwater to whitewater, if you paddle in or around Minnesota, you've found your home!
Mississippi Park Connection strengthens the enduring connection between people and the Mississippi River by enriching the life of the river and the lives of all who experience our national park, the Mississippi National River and Recreation Area.
Since 1936 the Minnesota Conservation Federation has been an advocate for the woods, waters, and wildlife of Minnesota. Through conservation, legislative, and education efforts MNCF seeks to involve more people in outdoor recreation while addressing the conservation needs facing many of our favorite outdoor places.
We will be using the beautiful Norin Landing as the Start of our MR 25 and as a check point for the MR 48 and MR 140. A huge shoutout to the city of Otsego for this wonderful park along the Mississippi River.

For more than 40 years Friends of the Boundary Waters Wilderness has been a leading voice for the ongoing protection, preservation and restoration of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. Our organization was instrumental in the passage of the 1978 Boundary Waters Protection Act, which made the Boundary Waters what it is today. Our supporters defend the Boundary Waters against activities that erode its wilderness character and work to ensure that the BWCAW, Superior National Forest and Quetico-Superior ecosystem are managed according to sound ecological principles. Advocacy is a broad endeavor. We believe the future of the wilderness depends on people and getting the next generation of diverse people to fall in love with the wilderness.
