To host a variety of paddling events of varying lengths on the Mississippi River that: 

• Provide a challenge for every person from novice to expert

• Allow people to experience the natural beauty and joy of paddling on the Mississippi river

• Promote the Mississippi River state water trail 

• Create and support a community of friendly, welcoming paddlers
