CR 17 Overview

A scenic paddle on TWO rivers, and our only race that takes place on Saturday, June 13th! Your journey begins on the Crow River and goes 9 miles to the confluence with Mississippi. From there it’s 8 miles to the finish line in Anoka. The CR 17 is perfect for experienced paddlers and first-timers alike.

The Crow River 17 is a 17-mile paddling event from the city of Rogers to the city of Anoka, Minnesota, with competitive race divisions, and a non-competitive recreational tour.

We are excited to partner with Three Rivers Park District for this event, which starts at noon at beautiful Crow-Hassan Park Reserve. Participants have until 6:00 PM to reach the finish at Peninsula Point Park in Anoka.

Participants must be comfortable with being amongst free roaming dogs at the off-leash dog park at the start of this event.

Solo paddlers, tandems, and teams are welcome. Canoes, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and all human-powered boats are allowed.
