CR 17 Overview
A scenic paddle on TWO rivers! Your journey begins on the Crow River and goes 9 miles until it meets the Mississippi. From there it’s 8 miles to the finish line in Anoka. The CR 17 is perfect for experienced and first-timers alike.
The Crow River 17 Canoe & Kayak Race & Tour (CR 17) is a 17-mile paddling event from Rogers to Anoka, Minnesota, offering competitive race divisions, and a non-competitive recreational tour.
We are excited to partner with Three Rivers Park District and the beautiful Crow-Hassan Park Reserve in organizing this event.
The event begins at Noon on Saturday, June 13, 2025, at the Dog Park in Crow-Hassan Park Reserve in Rogers. Participants have until 6:00 PM to reach the finish at Peninsula Point Park in Anoka.
Participants must be comfortable with being amongst free roaming dogs at the off-leash dog park at the start of this event.
Solo paddlers, tandems, and teams are welcome. Canoes, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and all human-powered boats are allowed.
